Canada — Do We Still Have Religious Freedom ?

In this program, Radio Maria interviews Suzanne Lavallee from Drummondville, Quebec. Her family has been forced to go to the Supreme Court of Canada to rule on whether they have the constitutional right to exempt their children from the Ministry mandated secular course called, Ethics and Religious Culture. Suzanne's legal struggle to have her children taught the Catholic faith shows the present difficulties faced by families when the province imposes a moral and religious curriculum. This is a battle for religious freedom and to keep religion in the public square.
